New leadership at DECRAN: Pieter Vangheluwe appointed CEO

This is why we are proud to announce the appointment of Pieter Vangheluwe as CEO of DECRAN, one of the companies within our group.
Pieter joined DECRAN more than eight years ago as a Project Manager, quickly progressing to Operations Manager — a role in which he helped streamline internal processes and strengthen the company’s operational backbone. An engineer by training and by mindset, he has always stayed close to the technical side of the business, working hands-on with both teams and clients.
“I know our products inside out, and I understand our clients’ expectations. I’ve focused on improving workflows and digitalizing operations so our teams can concentrate on what really matters — delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.”
DECRAN specializes in custom-made doors, manufactured primarily in Slovakia, with a smaller unit in Belgium for fire-rated doors. The company installs over 2,000 doors per year in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg — each one made to specific dimensions, finishes, and technical requirements.
Becoming part of EMI Group has opened new paths for DECRAN, both operationally and commercially.
“We used to deliver projects with 50 doors. Today, we’re handling projects of 200 doors — like the one we’ve recently started near the Brussels airport. Being part of a group gives us the structure to take on larger, more demanding contracts — with more risk, but also more reward.”
As CEO, Pieter’s focus will be on combining the agility and close-knit culture of DECRAN with the tools and systems needed to support sustainable growth. His leadership approach stays grounded in teamwork, clear communication, and a shared commitment to quality.
“I want to preserve DECRAN’s direct and pragmatic spirit while preparing us for the next phase. We have a strong core team and I believe there’s room to grow further in Belgium.”
His philosophy for growth is simple: deliver quality work and build long-term trust.
