EMI Group welcomes Julien Anglade as Group Managing Director

Bringing international experience, integration expertise and a hands-on approach to growth across Europe

EMI Group is glad to welcome Julien Anglade as Group Managing Director, joining us at a moment when our presence across Western and Central Europe is growing at a steady pace.

Julien brings almost 25 years of international leadership experience in multi-country organisations within the business services sector. Throughout his career, he has opened new markets in Greece, Moldova, Morocco and Romania, and coordinated both acquisitions and large-scale transformation programs. What convinced him to join EMI was the ambition he saw and the momentum already underway.

“I am motivated by growth. EMI is clearly a group expanding beyond its home markets, and that is the environment where I feel most at home. The recent acquisitions in Belgium and the Netherlands show a real willingness to build a strong European footprint.”

A leader shaped by international expansion and transformation
Julien’s background combines market development with organisational modernisation. In his previous role, he coordinated the move from traditional ticket systems to fully digital card solutions, a shift that changed tools, processes and mindsets. He believes this type of evolution can also bring value to EMI.

“AI will separate companies into two categories: those who use it and those who fall behind. Even in industry, support functions must adopt modern tools so that people can focus on higher-value work. This transformation must start with management and I intend to lead by example.”

His experience integrating newly acquired companies across several countries will be particularly valuable as EMI continues to grow.

Supporting both organic and acquisition-driven growth
With the Group targeting a consolidated turnover of 120 million euros, Julien sees two main drivers ahead: continuing to grow organically in each country and expanding through M&A to strengthen capabilities and geographic presence.

“My role is to help every country grow, from Romania to Belgium and the Netherlands, and ensure that we function as one Group, not as separate entities. We will strengthen commercial capabilities, improve organisation and process efficiency, and build innovative ways of working.”

He aims to anchor this work through regular contact with country managers and greater alignment across HR, IT, marketing, communication, production and support teams.

A people-first leadership approach
From his first days at EMI, Julien noticed something essential: a strong and sincere human culture.

“I felt warmly welcomed from the start. EMI is a very human group. People work hard but in a positive, respectful atmosphere. You cannot build anything meaningful without people who feel good in their work.”

He plans to keep this spirit at the heart of the Group while strengthening cross-border collaboration, encouraging innovation and supporting sustainable growth.

As EMI enters a new stage of European expansion, Julien Anglade brings a mix of international experience, integration know-how and people-focused leadership that aligns naturally with the Group’s long-term ambitions.
