EMI Group strengthens its presence in Belgium through a strategic partnership with MIBA BV and ALL PORT BV
EMI Group continues its European expansion with a strategic partnership in Belgium, welcoming MIBA BV and ALL PORT BV into the Group. Both companies are led by Marc Schots, founder and managing director, and operate as complementary entities addressing distinct market segments. The partnership marks an important step in consolidating EMI Group’s position in one of its key markets, while preserving the entrepreneurial DNA, leadership, and operational autonomy of both companies.
The addition of MIBA and All Port further strengthens EMI Group’s Belgian platform, which was initially built through the partnerships with Access Systems and DECRAN. This expanded presence creates a powerful and well-balanced footprint across Belgium, generating strong operational and commercial synergies and positioning EMI Group among the most significant players in the Belgian market for industrial access solutions.
Founded in 2008 as a family business, MIBA has grown into a leading Belgian provider of access solutions, operating across Belgium’s residential sector and key industrial clusters, including the Port of Antwerp, Brussels Airport, and projects for the Belgian Defence sector.
A testament to the trust clients place in the company, one of MIBA’s defining strengths is its strong service-oriented model, with around 65% of its activity coming from service and maintenance, supported by a robust 24/7 service organization and a large, highly skilled technical team active across Belgium.
At the heart of MIBA Group is Marc Schots, who remains fully involved in the day-to-day management of both companies. With nearly four decades of experience in the industrial doors sector, he continues to lead the businesses with a hands-on approach, combining technical expertise, commercial insight, and a strong focus on people. His leadership philosophy is built around trust, responsibility, and proximity to teams and clients, a culture that resonates strongly with that of EMI Group.
From EMI Group’s perspective, the partnership is about building strength through collaboration, not centralization. MIBA and ALL PORT retain their identity, brand, and management, while gaining access to the Group’s resources, purchasing power, and cross-border know-how. Operational synergies are already taking shape, particularly in Belgium, where geographic coordination between companies allows for faster response times, optimized technician deployment, and improved service levels for clients.
This partnership unlocks the next phase of growth while strengthening what matters most: deep client relationships and empowered teams. By combining local expertise with a strong European platform, EMI Group and MIBA and All Port are setting the foundation for sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
