A decentralized model driving European expansion

At ZF „Investiți în România”, Jerome France, CEO and founder of EMI Group, outlines the strategic direction behind the Group’s development and its ambition to become a leading European platform in access systems.

Over the past years, EMI Group has accelerated its growth through partnerships with private equity investors Morphosis Capital and Innova Capital, alongside the integration of companies such as Access Systems, Decran, and KADRA. The objective remains clear: to position the Group among the top three players in each market it enters.

A key element of this expansion is the decentralized operating model. Each company maintains its identity, client relationships, and entrepreneurial culture, while benefiting from the Group’s financial strength, shared expertise, and operational synergies. This balance enables both local responsiveness and structured growth.

Jerome France emphasizes that proximity to clients and service quality remain at the core of the model. The Group continues to develop its maintenance capabilities, aiming to increase the share of recurring service contracts, while investing in automation, equipment, and digitalization to improve the overall client experience.

The European market itself is evolving rapidly, driven by increasing demand for automation, smarter infrastructure, and more integrated solutions. In this context, EMI Group’s model combines local agility with cross-border knowledge sharing, supported by financial discipline and ESG-driven practices.

Looking ahead, the Group plans further acquisitions in Belgium and other European markets, while continuing to invest in the development of its existing companies and teams. Founders remain actively involved in the business, ensuring continuity and long-term vision.

In the next five years, Jerome France sees EMI Group becoming a reference player in Europe, with a clear focus on service, operational excellence, and sustainable growth — supported by strong local teams and ongoing investment in technical capabilities.
