EMI Group in 2024: a year of organic growth and strategic expansion planning
2024 has been a defining year for EMI Group, marking another step forward in its mission to build a strong, synergistic network of access solutions providers across Europe. Despite challenging market conditions, the group delivered solid results, reaching approximately €44 million in revenue, driven entirely by organic growth across its companies. The team also grew to 260 employees across all countries, further strengthening the group’s expertise and execution capacity.

A key milestone officially announced at the beginning of 2025 was the reinforcement of the management team with the addition of a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer, Joep Bovens, ensuring a more structured approach to operations and strategy execution. This comes at a time when EMI Group is accelerating its expansion into key European markets, leveraging both its established footprint and growing reputation.

Across its partner companies, EMI Group strengthened its market position in 2024, securing new clients and delivering high-impact projects across various sectors. EMI Romania stood out with its expertise in industrial access solutions, exemplified by a recent project at a tire manufacturing plant in northern Romania, where it designed and installed tailored access systems to ensure seamless operations and safety. KADRA reinforced its leadership in hospital access solutions and parking systems, contributing to projects such as Medicover Hospital in Cluj, the Maternity Hospital in Brașov, and key infrastructure hubs like Timișoara and Sibiu International Airports. In Belgium, Access Systems and Decran solidified their reputation in metallic and industrial doors, delivering solutions for a diverse range of projects, including the Leonidas chocolate factory, the Big Bear Evergem logistics center, and Westland Shopping Center near Brussels.

One of the most significant achievements of 2024 has been the growth of EMI Group’s service and maintenance portfolio, surpassing 50,000+ access systems under maintenance. This milestone reflects not only the group’s strong presence in the market but also its commitment to long-term client partnerships and service excellence.
Beyond individual successes, synergies within the group have started to generate tangible value, as companies increasingly collaborate on projects, share expertise, and optimize operations. These cross-company efficiencies are key to EMI Group’s long-term vision of creating a leading European platform in access solutions, balancing local expertise with group-wide innovation.

With a clear strategy and momentum on its side, EMI Group enters the next phase of its growth journey, ready to further expand its market reach and reinforce its position as a trusted partner in the industry.
