Job Description Financial Analyst

 

EMI Group is looking for a Financial Analyst with 1-2 years experience to cover M&A, financial and board reporting.

Location: Bucharest

 

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial data:

  • Reviewing budgets, income statements, and forecasts to assess a company’s financial health.
  • Evaluate the financial health of potential acquisition targets by analyzing financial statements, business operations, and market trends.

Develop financial models:

  • Creating models to predict future financial performance and assess investment opportunities.
  • Create models to assess the value and potential risks of prospective transactions.

Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by coordinating with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and operational departments.

Prepare Reports and Presentations:

  • Summarize findings and recommendations in detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Prepare presentations for Board Meetings

Negotiate and Execute Deals: Participate in the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.

Post-Merger Integration: Monitor and report on post-merger integration activities to ensure the realization of projected synergies.

Provide recommendations: Offering creative solutions to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

Conduct benchmarking: Comparing financial performance against industry standards.

Identify trends: Spotting trends in financial data to advise on strategic decisions.

 

Skills:

Proficiency in creating financial models using tools like Excel, MS Office, and financial analysis software.

Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

Communication skills: Excellent presentation and reporting skills to convey financial insights.

Problem-solving skills: Ability to provide creative solutions to financial challenges.
